Killarney Riding Stables
Established in the late 1960’s, our horse riding stables can expertly provide each and every customer with a unique horse tour tailored to their individual level of riding ability. All our groups go into the National Park here in Killarney, which is the largest and oldest National Park in Ireland. We ride though the Knockreer Estate, North of Lough Leane, (the largest of the three lakes in Killarney) and take in views of Ross Castle and Ross Island, along with panoramic views of Innisfallen Island & the McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range. The Kenmare Estate and the majestic mountains surrounding Killarney will all be appreciated as well as the native red deer, which are unique in Ireland.
All rides are supervised by guides with special care taken of nervous or beginner riders. We cater for all levels of riding experience (walk, trot and canter depending on each individuals ability), and riders are grouped according to ability. However, should you wish to arrange a mixed group we can accommodate your request. Children must be 8 years or older in order to participate.
The Stables provides riding helmets and rubber boots (no extra charge). Riding Helmets are compulsory and therefore must be worn.
