Setting off from the humble 15th Century Ross Castle, you will soon encounter sneak peeks of the beautiful lake & islands through the trees, off track forest routes and all the enchanting viewing points; governor’s rock, library point, Innisfallen Island & ruins of the late 6th Century Monastery and infamous Killarney Mountains.
A tour of Innisfallen Island can easily be incorporated into your afternoon with a boat ride from the front of the castle. Why not bring a picnic and enjoy the serenity of the island!
