Experience and celebrate Killarney’s fun-filled festival for an unforgettable celebration of Irish American friendship.
Killarney’s Irish American Friendship Festival is a fabulous themed event celebrating the town’s special centuries-old link with the United States. Marking the generosity of the Bourne Vincent and McShain families not only for Killarney House and Gardens but for the gift of Inisfallen Island, Ross Castle and the 8,000 acres of parkland, mountains and lakes. We remember the six million Irish people who have emigrated to the US since 1820 and welcome their descendants now proudly describing themselves as Irish American. This is a celebration where cultures converge and friendships are forged and celebrated.
Don’t miss out on this remarkable festival.
Prepare to be dazzled by a spectacular parade featuring marching bands, striking custom-built floats, baton-twirling cheerleaders & colourful movie characters and feel the pulse of the Beat on the Street party, with exceptional musicians and brass bands.
