Strengthening Killarney's Tourism: The Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce Partners with IHF

The Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) stands as the national voice for Ireland’s hotel and guesthouse industry, promoting and safeguarding its members’ interests. With nearly 1,000 hotels and guesthouses under its umbrella, the IHF is a cornerstone of the Irish tourism sector.

In Killarney, our relationship with the IHF is particularly strong. Around 26 hotels in our area are represented by the Kerry Branch of the IHF, many of which are also part of the Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce.

Partnerships Driving Progress

Our collaboration with the IHF extends beyond mere memberships. Representatives from Kerry IHF actively participate in our sub-committees and contribute their expertise to help shape our policies and initiatives.

Together, the Kerry IHF and the Chamber are founding members of the Kerry Tourism Industry Federation (KTIF), an organisation dedicated to promoting and developing tourism in County Kerry. Our mutual goal is to ensure Killarney and its surrounding regions remain vibrant and attractive to visitors.

United for Tourism

We believe in the power of partnerships. Alongside IHF, Kerry and KTIF, we work tirelessly to advocate for the tourism industry at local and national government levels. Our collaboration extends to Fáilte Ireland, with whom we build strategic partnerships across diverse tourism sectors.
